Howdy! Welcome to ACCUMULATIONS: A BAZAAR! I hope you enjoy my quaint little vintage collectibles shop.
HERE'S MY STORY...
As a lifelong collector, treasure hunter and history buff - I am so thankful to have found this fun, interesting and fulfilling career path. As many of you well know - there IS a certain thrill one gets when treasure hunting. I have my late mother to thank for getting me hooked on 'junking.' As a teen in the seventies I would tag along with her as we perused local junk shops, estate sales, flea markets and garage sales. I became a collector back then; with matchbook covers and stamps being my first collections.
I have a BA in English & History, and a Masters of Library & Information Science. I clocked in a number of years as a mortgage processor before starting work as an adult reference/ children's librarian. Being a librarian was a dream come true for me. It too, was fun, interesting and fulfilling. My only reason for leaving was to be a stay at home mom, and a (on-again, off-again) homeschool teacher.
Through the years I continued thrifting and treasure hunting - snagging things for my growing family, and adding items to my various collections. In the early 2000's I sold used and out-of-print books online. I started selling at a local antiques mall in 2012, and I am now in the process of setting up a brick and mortar shop here in the Twin Cities.
And here I am - finally selling my vintage goods online! Having a marketplace on ETSY has always been a goal for me. I am offering you my ultimate best in curated vintage collectibles. I look forward to serving you!
